Vista stands for reducing the global footprint of agriculture and supporting sustainable and climate change-adapted food production. We have been working and researching in the field of remote sensing for almost 30 years. Our digital services offer our customers integrated solutions in the area of conflict between water, nutrient and CO2 management.
In international research projects as well as in close cooperation with private sector clients, we develop operational methods for the evaluation of optical and radar satellite data.
A second focus is on spatial and temporal environmental modeling on various scales. Our own IT solutions for processing large volumes of data are a central component of this.
Vista’s solutions, particularly in the areas of smart farming (TalkingFields) and yield forecasting (Ypsilon), have been established on the market for years.

Rollenbeschreibung
Als DevOps-Spezialist:in unterstützen Sie die Entwicklung, den Betrieb und die Skalierung unserer digitalen Fernerkundungsservices und Digital Twin Lösungen. Zu Ihren täglichen Aufgaben gehören die Einrichtung und Pflege von CI/CD-Pipelines, die Integration neuer Softwarekomponenten in bestehende Systeme sowie die Automatisierung von Deployments. Sie betreuen Container-Orchestrierungslösungen, überwachen die Systemstabilität und optimieren die Infrastruktur auf Linux-Basis, sowohl in On-Premises-Cluster als auch auf Cloud-Plattformen (z. B. Azure). Außerdem arbeiten Sie eng mit Entwicklungs- und Datenexpert:innen zusammen, um robuste, sichere und skalierbare Plattformen für unsere Kunden bereitzustellen.
Qualifikationen
- Sie haben ein abgeschlossenes Studium oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation im IT- oder technischen Bereich.
- Sie verfügen über fundierte Kenntnisse in der Softwareentwicklung und sind mit modernen Entwicklungsprozessen und -werkzeugen vertraut.
- Sie besitzen Erfahrung in Continuous Integration und Integration von Anwendungen, einschließlich Aufbau und Pflege von CI/CD-Pipelines.
- Sie bringen praktische Erfahrung im Umgang mit Kubernetes oder vergleichbaren Container-Orchestrierungssystemen mit.
- Sie verfügen über gute Kenntnisse in Linux-basierten Systemen, inklusive Administration, Monitoring und Automatisierung.
- Sie haben Kenntnisse in Cloud-Plattformen (z. B. Azure), Skriptsprachen (z. B. Bash, Python), Infrastructure-as-Code (z. B. Terraform.
- Integration von AI Methoden in die DevOps Prozesse sehen Sie als spannende Herausforderung an.
- Sie haben Freude daran im Team Lösungen bereitzustellen, die die global knappen Wasser- und Bodenreserven optimal nutzen und eine nachhaltige Nahrungsmittelproduktion unterstützen.
- Sie haben Spaß an Weltraumtechnologien und besitzen sehr gute Englisch- und Deutschkenntnisse.
- Teamfähigkeit, Führungskompetenz, Lernbereitschaft und eine strukturierte Arbeitsweise runden Ihr Profil ab.
