Snow Monitoring Products
from Sentinel-1 observations
Within the SnowSense Demo Project
a Pilot Service for the area of Newfoundland / Canada will be set up, integrating
- in-situ measurements
- snow- and hydrological modelling
- satellite monitoring
For Winter 2015/2016 the first EO based snow monitoring products, using Sentinel-1A data, dedicated to detect wet/melting snow, are inducted.
Products will be periodically updated..
